Today we went out in search of wildflowers. We had a tip from a friend on the best place to go, so we packed up the cameras, girls and picnic essentials and headed out. We almost turned the car around before we came upon the perfect field in full bloom........lots of purple, white and orange. There were so many photographers out in the field, it was hard to get a picture without all of them in it. This was clearly the spot to be today.

Oh My Gosh! Okay, I know roughly where you guys live but, honestly, seeing the girls in what I would call summer dresses while frolicking in a field of flowers in March is just plain mind-blowing. You are making Seattle look pretty miserable. In case you were wondering, it is cold, rainy and windy at the moment. Wanna trade;)
Lori, your photograpy is really amazing. I thought that first picture was a painting! They are all beautiful. You must have really made the most of your session with Debbie!
Is there no end to your talents? What gorgeous pictures of your girls! Of course, the subject matter of your girls really makes the flowers pale in comparison.
Scary thing about the pool, but so happy that she did not panic, but managed to get herself out of the pool! Way to go Chloe and way to go Mom and Dad for the swimming lessons!
Peter accidentally locked himself out of the yard a few years ago and went to a house where he saw a mom getting in her car. He knew our phone number and she called. "Is this Peter's mom? Yes, he's outside the fence with me. Can you come and get him?" Add another badge on my "mother of the year" sash, will ya?
These photos are just amazing, I love wildflowers and you've really done a spectacular job capturing your daughters! Beautiful site, I'm so glad I found you this morning.
Wow! Where DO you live?? I would love a spot like that for some photos. They are beautiful. We seem to have the same interests (sewing and pix) but you seem to have much more talent for them! :)
