Extreme Grooming or Strange Hobby

I used to raise English Angora rabbits for show competition. I think it requires a compulsive and slightly eccentric person to raise and show them successfully. That is because each animal requires hours of care and grooming on a weekly basis. It requires a dedication, or perhaps obsession, with wanting to maintain and improve the breed. It is very dirty work, but there is a certain thrill that is irrisistible when you have a win on the show table with one of these glorious creatures.
