No Make-Up for You!

This picture doesn't really show the extent of the swelling or the rash that borders her hairline. It was taken after she returned from the doctor's office and after she had a couple doses of medication to reduce the swelling and redness. Nevertheless, it is clear that she is suffering from an allergic reaction. The only make-up she was wearing was eye shadow and lipstick, but apparently that was enough. Even her wrists had rashes on them where she must have rubbed her eyes. We did a dress rehersal with make-up on Thursday for picture-taking and I noticed her eye was red the next day on Halloween. But being the poor mother that I am, I put more make-up on that red skin, not making the connection between the make-up and the rash.

She is almost all better now.

Eeewwww! Ouch!

That's OK. She's too pretty to wear makeup anyway!

Oh don't worry, it's just another star on your Mother of the Year badge :)

As a toddler, I walked around for 3days with my head cocked to the side before my parents took me to the doctor and found I had fractured my collar bone.

The reason children don't come with manuals is because the book would be too big.

Oh my goodness. Glad she is better.

Think of the money she'll save not buying eye makeup. She's beautiful without it anyway. Her smile lights up the room, truly !!

By the way, their costumes were 1st place in my book.

Blessings, Gail

Poor Pearl. It's so scary when that happens. Well, at least now you know! Love the girls' costumes. Very cute! Hope all is well. How did you make out at the eye dr. last week?

So sorry to hear about that allergy. But I guess that she can be thankful the allergy is not to food or pollens and molds or dog, cat or rabbit dander. -[GRIN]
